Now more than ever, Texas courts will order mediation before proceeding to trial.  The mediation process is confidential and involves a third party mediator working with the parties to facilitate a settlement.

 

Mediation, just like a trial, is an art form.  There are good mediators and bad mediators; and here is one place experience matters.  An experienced attorney will know when you need to find a way to say yes, or when you need to stand firm and go to trial.  A settlement isn’t always possible, but we will be here to work through any outcome that arises. • The goal is to reach an agreement

• If a mediated settlement agreement is made, it is binding and not revocable

• You can settle some of the issues, and leave the rest for trial
